Yea, I had survived another working day!!!! Ha.

Was rather bz 2dae. Reached office at 8.20am lidat. Reali surprised i'm early again & there wasnt ani1 there, except the receptionist. Luckily she's back. Chatted wif her for awhile n gt bac 2 my seat at 8.25am.

Began my day by sorting out the documents, create a table of contents frm "A" to "Z", calling up the contractors to ask for quotation, ask for technician etc. During the receptionist lunch hr, i was needed at the reception desk. Bt reception duties can b quite fun at times. Or maeb cos i'm only helping out for tat 1 hr, so still alrite. Will find it still alrite. Basically jus nd 2 sae,

"Good Morning blah blah blah" Ha. Can memorise tat sentence now.

And the receptionist taught mi tis. "I am sorry the receptionist is out for lunch. Would you like to leave your name & contact no? And i will ask her to get back to you." So nt much stress. I jus nd to mention tat n they will auto call bac latr or leave their contacts. Ha. The major prob i faced is when dealing wif foreigners n the names etc. Its DIFFICULT!!!! I duno wat r they saeing. And i cant possibly ask them to repeat wat they hav said.

So sometimes i will jus smile at them or ask them hw do they spell the names. Cos tis company is too globally established. Most of the staffs arent Chinese Singaporeans. I met lots of Eurasians, some Philippians, a few china staffs etc. Luckily the contractors r chinese. If nt i tink my day will b so tough. Hw to tok 2 them?? 1 duck 1 chicken. Ha.

Bt 2dae was quite fun. Settled most of my work bt met some probs here n there aso. Bt nt major prob. The staffs there r very nice n they will assist me when i nd their help. Was supposed 2 b very very bz aft lunch cos my schedule was :

1. At 2pm, i nd 2 help in supervising the workers in the moving of furniture 2 the president office. Bt president wasnt ard. If nt can c him. Ha. Aniwae, tis was done by 1 of the handyman, my colleague. So i dun nd 2 do.

2. At 3pm, a technician will b coming dwn to service the printer n i nd 2 b his escort. Brought him upstairs 2 whr the printer was n told him wats the prob n made sure he stayed wif mi n nt exploring the office on his own. Ha.

Quite fun aso bt then was so guilty abt it 2dae. Cos i requested for the technician 2 b dwn 2dae bt tis was assigned by my person-in-charge. She told mi 2 call for the technician 2 cfm the time b4 she left for her holi. So i jus followed wat i was told. The technician came n couldnt find any error when he test print.

He said he needed a pc 2 find the bug bt its only my 2nd day of work of cos i'm still as blur as a sotong. I told him exactly wat i was told n i wasnt sure abt the rest. So i was like so lost. Called up the handyman tinking he might b able 2 help bt he wasnt sure. So the daring mi went over 2 1 of the staff desk n requested for her help. Luckily she's nice enuf 2 help. Cos tat level is for executives. Imagine i offend 1 of the executives. Ha. Gd luck 2 mi.

Eventually the bug wasnt solved. Cos everyting prints out correctly. I was so guilty aft tat, for asking him 2 make a waste trip up, somemore it was raining heavily at tat time. Maeb cos i'm new 2 such ting. I find it so bad. I keep feeling tat its my mistake for nt clarifying n asking the whole situation wif the person-in-charge. In addition, i did ask him, r u paid for coming??? He said no. I felt so bad lar. So i apologised 2 him n he understands too. Fortunately he is patient n understanding enuf. Imagine i met wif a fussy n unreasonable technician. Again, gd luck 2 mi.

Bt 1st time gt visitor finds mi. So great. Ha. Cos everytime i only get 2 c guests lookin for other staffs. Sure wun hav my guest. Finally i hav a guest for mi 2dae. WAHAHAHA. Quite fun.

3. At aso 3pm, i nd 2 help out wif the couriers. Cos the handyman helped mi alot so i was tinking of offering my help. Bt the stupid printer wasted my 1 hr. When i returned, he's almost done. So went 2 help out in other stuffs. Soon its near 2 5pm.

4. At ard 4.55pm, was called 2 help out at the reception cos the receptionist nd 2 deliver her mails. So I sat there for like few min. Ard 10 min lidat. Aft tat chatted wif the receptionist for awhile then went 2 finish up my work n soon its 5.30 pm. End of day. Ha.

A happy day 2dae except for some guilts.

2 more days 2 go n i will b leaving tis company. Hooo... So sad.

Its quite a nice place 2 work in. Their culture is sth i liked. And the working location is so convenient compared 2 other places like shenton way or orchard n the food is cheaper than in orchard. There's also underpass n shelter all the way 2 the office & ends work at 5.30pm. When i reached hm its onli 6.15pm. So nice. Compared 2 7pm. Its alot different. I get 2 bathe n eat n watch tv at 7pm. Bt wasted they r nt hiring any perm staff rite now. Else i will sure request for it. Ha.

Shall go for my slp now. Tired aft a bz day. Walking up n dwn, round n round the office. Bt reali fun. 1st time i enjoy my work. Maeb cos i get 2 walk here n there, instead of sitting dwn frm start 2 end. And when i'm bz, time past so much faster. I like. Ha.
