Woke up at 6.30am on fri n took a cab dwn to Pasir Ris cos it was my dear's bro enlistment day. Went cos dear's bro is aso my poly fren - Youjie. Its been so long since i woke up so early so of cos i'm tired. Only had like 4 hrs of slp the nite b4 n had 2 travel so far wif the weather so warm.

Went Pasir Ris mac 2 hav breakfast wif dear. I miss mac fillet o fish!!! It alwas tastes so nice!! Ha. Aft breakfast, went q up for the bus 2 fetch us to the ferry terminal. I was so excited abt boarding the ferry & crossing over 2 the nxt island. Ha. Like so mountain tortoise lidat. Nv cross the sea b4, nv tak a ferry b4. Ha. Bt i did lor. I went on a cruise 2 yrs bac. WAHAHA. Cruise is so much nicer n more comfy than the ferry.

Aniwae here's hw the ferry looks like. Ha. I gt a shocked when i saw it. It looks so different frm wat i imagined. I tot is like those normal non-aircon boat. Ha. And when the ferry came, every1 at the ferry terminal were asked 2 go onboard. I was tinking, the ferry gt so big meh? Bt it reali can tak alot of passengers at a time.


Here's hw it looked like frm inside. Bt tis is only the 2nd half of the ferry. There's still another half infront and few rows behind mi.


If only i get 2 sit by the window.........


On the way, I wonder, hw does tekong looks like. Dear kept saying its a chalet. LOL. Bluff!! Whr gt looks like chalet?? Looks more like prison.




Was asked to go here n there during the tekong tour. The place wasnt tat nice aft all. So HOT!!! And wan go hm still mus tak 15 min of ferry ride, then tak abt another 15 min of bus then can reach white sands. So far. Plus onboard the ferry is giddy de lor. Till nw still gt the feelin of the ferry swaying left n right.

Bt i definitely like the view of the big sea, the currents, the sea breeze. It nv fail 2 make mi feel calm n peaceful.


Another ting gd abt tekong is tat... the food there is VERY NICE!!!! I tot is 2dae then they purposely cook nice food 2 show the parents, "Hey,no worry, u see, we gif ur kids nice food." Ha. I wasnt tinking of eating bt when i stepped into the canteen area, i smell a veri nice food smell. Realised tat every1 was eating the same ting. Chicken rice?? Ha. Cos they hav rice wif a little cabbage then a big chicken drumstick & the chilli they gave is so nice can. The whole plate, the chilli is the nicest. Ha.

After the meal wif youjie, its time 4 us 2 bid goodbye n tak the ferry bac 2 changi jetty. Saw tis nice ferry wif the name of......


"Penguin Princess" Wahaha. Wat a nice name. Bt tat wasnt the 1 we board, its the opp 1.


Luckily, we managed 2 get the seats by the window. Bt actually is only i get 2 sit by the window. Ha. Dear's mum wanted 2 sit by the window bt she gave it 2 mi. So since i gt the priviledge to sit near the window, of cos i must nt waste the chance. Ha. Cos tis could b my last chance of going tekong n taking the ferry. So i must tak more pics!!


The majestic airplane!! It looked reali huge when i c it. Cos it was flying quite low. Shd b landing at the SIA cargo at changi jetty area.


And i realised sth, you reali can c alot of airplanes when u r at tekong. Ha. During my trip there, i kept seeing & hearing the airplanes fly past. If reali want 2 count, during tat 3hrs, i saw at least 10 airplanes. Sumhw, i kind of like the view of airplanes. It always look so majestic n beautiful when they r high up in the sky. And i'm always wondering, i can c the plane frm my view, bt frm the passengers view, which part of singapore are they seeing now????

Back to the terminal n took the bus bac 2 white sands. Dear said, one's luck will change aft crossing the sea. Tats aso 1 of the reason he asked mi 2 go. Cos i've been veri unlucky these few mths. BT BT BT, i tot its reali tat accurate bt hu noes, i knocked my head when i board the bus!! Cos the bus had tis extra ting on top of every seats, tink is for putting luggages & bcos i'm tall so i will nd 2 bend my head b4 i go in n hav my seat bt i 4gt. So i knocked my head n i tink its kind of loud cos dear's dad was behind n he heard. Ha. So he went 2 the very end of the bus n sat dwn. Dear's mum asked him,"Y must go till the back n sit??" He replied, "Lidat then wun b like mi, knocked my head." LOL. So malu lar. I duno wan lauf or cry.

Just cross the sea n disembark frm the ferry nt long only then i knocked my head. I told dear he bluff mi. Whr gt change luck?? Like still so unlucky & he replied,"Knock le then will change luck." LOL. Whr gt lidat de????

After reaching white sands, dear n i went 2 the Pet Safari at Simei n tis particular puppy caught my attention. Its a 3 mths female Jap Spitz n she is SOSOSO adorable. Her actions r so similar 2 my miki. Took sum pics n a very cute video of her. Click here to view.

Next, we took a cab dwn to a temple at balestier. Cos dear is going to have his final degree paper in early nov. Hopefully he can get a dist for tis paper. Bt the 2 stupid us, 1st time goin 2 temple alone. Ha. We duno wat we shd do so we asked the staff there n dear kept calling his mum n asked. Ha. Lots of silly tings happen there.

1. We gt our joss sticks le, we duno whr 2 light it up.


2. We light it up le bt duno whr 2 start. So we jus anihw choose 1 place n start offering our joss sitcks.


3. We duno wat is the god name and wat shd we say when we pray. Everytime b4 we start 2 pray, i will ask dear, who is tis?? And pray for wat?? Ha. Then he aso blur blur. So he saes aniting lar. LOL. Praying hw can aniting??? Bt we gt no other choice. Cant b tak hp out n tak a pic of the god then send 2 our parents n ask mah. Ha.


4. We duno hw many joss sticks we shd give. So we c ple put 3, we aso put 3.


5. We duno whr 2 offer joss stick for a particular god. So we 2 blur sotongs, held the joss sticks n went inside which we shdnt. How i noe we shdnt?? Cos aft we were done, i saw tis auntie n her sons offering the joss sticks outside. If only they came earlier. Ha.


6. We didnt hav enuf joss sticks in the end. Ha. I duno whr we did wrong cos there was nobody there 2 correct us. Ha. So since we were already wrong frm the start, then shall b it. Ha. We jus nd 2 clear the joss sticks we had n tats it.

Morale of the story. Do ur homework 1st b4 u go to a temple. Or at least hav a person who noes 2 accompany u. Ha. Dun b like us so malu. Luckily, when we go there's onli like 2 persons there.

Aft the praying session, we walked back to Toa Payoh Central. Its kind of far. Bt nt very very far. Mainly bcos the weather is extremely hot tats y i find the path so long. Felt so sick under the hot sun. Hw i wish i could hav a ice bath at tat time. Finally there's aircon at hdb hub. Sat there for half an hr then proceed to dinner. Was so hungry n thirsty n tired. Had a bowl of prawn noodle then ate half of dear's carrot cake then we shared a bowl of dessert. Imagine hw hungry i was.

Went hm bathe, rest n went 2 bed at 9 plus. Was very exhausted aft a long day outside. Out in such a hot weather. I'm surprised i survived the day out. At times i nearly cant make it bt i told myself i cant faint. Esp when i'm in tekong. If i faint there, so many ple will b looking at mi. Plus there's so many nsmen there. Will b like so malu.
